The Learning Commons offers a variety of free tutoring options to match the way you learn. Our highly qualified professional coaches and peer tutors are ready to share their learning strategies and problem-solving skills with you in a variety of subjects. When you need us, we’re here!
Coaching Centers
We offer professional coaching and peer tutoring in a variety of subjects. Please check below for specific hours and locations. Both in-person and online coaching and tutoring are 100% FREE!
Spring 2024 Coaching Hours (Jan. 8th – May 3rd)
In-person or online coaching appointments can be scheduled via the link above. Please contact Carmen Davis (Director, Learning Commons) at carmen_davis@davidsondavie.edu if you have any questions on how to access tutoring.
*There will be no coaching or tutoring with DDCC staff on holidays, during Spring Break (Mar. 4th – 8th), or when the College is closed; however, online academic support with ThinkingStorm tutors will be available during these times.

Online Tutoring & Additional Support
The Learning Commons has partnered with ThinkingStorm to provide an online appointment scheduling platform for Davidson-Davie Coaches (both in-person and online). ThinkingStorm also offers online coaching for subjects not covered in the Learning Commons and when Davidson-Davie Coaches are not available. Simply log in at davidsondavie.thinkingstorm.com to schedule an appointment using your StormTrac username and password to view scheduling options.
