Davidson-Davie cares about YOU, the whole person.
Davidson-Davie recognizes that you are more than just a student. You are a mother, a daughter, a son, a father, a co-worker, an organizational leader, an entrepreneur, and many other titles or roles that you can hold. We think about your wellness in all of the 8 Dimensions of Wellness. We strive to help you as a student through all of these dimensions. As you consider your Dimensions of Wellness, think about the following:
- Intellectual: How do you consider how you grow intellectually? Is this why you decided to come to college?
- Emotional: Do you allow yourself to feel the emotions that you need to feel or do you suppress them?
- Spiritual: This doesn’t have to mean religion, but it can. Do you find moments of peace for yourself in your life?
- Occupational: Do you have a job? Does your job drain you or give you energy? Have you thought about your purpose?
- Financial: Money doesn’t have to be a stressor. It is never too late to consider your level of financial literacy.
- Physical: Do you eat right? Exercise? Are you pleased with your physical health?
- Environmental: How safe do you feel in your space? The spaces you visit? Do you spend time outside?
- Social: Do you isolate more than you spend time with others, or vice versa? Evaluate the connections in your life.
