Davidson-Davie Student Ambassador Program

The Student Ambassador Program is a leadership opportunity for students who want to serve and represent Davidson-Davie Community College. Student Ambassadors provide campus tours, assist new students, and represent the college at campus events.

Student Ambassadors must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a currently registered student at Davidson-Davie Community College in good standing with no history of any Student Code of Conduct violation
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher
  • High School students must be at the sophomore, junior or senior level.
  • Able to serve at least 2 consecutive semesters or more as a Student Ambassador
  • Commit to 50 involvement hours (combination of tours, desk hours and college/campus events) each semester on the Davidson Campus and 35 involvement hours for the Davie Campus.
  • Be able to attend monthly meetings.
  • Must have a sincere desire to represent Davidson-Davie Community College and to learn strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Must have an enthusiastic and positive attitude as well as be a successful team player.
