Homesteading Series

This is a great course to be introduced to some of the traditional homesteading skills that have been practiced throughout history, as well as today, to assist families in providing for their food needs.  Participants may attend all 4 sessions or pick and choose the ones they are most interested in with a one time registration fee.

The following class dates as scheduled:

March 26 – Creating a sustainable home vegetable garden

June 25 – Foraging and Trapping

August 27 – Food Preservation 1 (canning & drying)

October 22 – Food Preservation 2 (curing, smoking & fermenting)
