Davidson-Davie Small Business Center Offers Networking for Women Business Owners

September 7, 2022 – The Small Business Center at Davidson-Davie Community College is launching a series of monthly opportunities for women small business owners to hear from prominent female entrepreneurs about success strategies. The first meeting is September 19 at 6 p.m. in-person on the Davidson Campus in the Smith Health Sciences Center or via Zoom.

“This new series is a great way to get inspired by prominent female entrepreneurs as they share their success strategies,” said Sharon Styffe, director of the Small Business Center at Davidson-Davie. “Come meet other entrepreneurs and valuable community economic partners … it will be worth your time!”

Each monthly meeting offers small business owners networking opportunities with each other and a business specialist who will discuss a pertinent topic chosen by the group. Topics may include developing a profile of your best customer, targeting your best customer, sustainable pricing strategies, effective contract negotiations, sound business plans and planning, developing funding opportunities, and many other recently-requested topics. Locations will rotate within Davidson and Davie counties. Participants are able to showcase their products and services at display tables. To register for the September 19 event, visit www.ncsbc.net/center.aspx?center=75170 or call 336.224.4457. Registrants may participate in-person or through a simultaneous Zoom broadcast.
