Student taking notesSo you want to transfer to a four-year college? That’s great! Davidson-Davie may not be the final stop of your academic journey. In fact, we’re here to help you navigate your future options. The Virtual Transfer Center will help you along your way.

Plan early and seek help from your Academic Advisor

Advisors can assist students with determining degree plans, understanding transfer guidelines and meeting application and scholarship deadlines. It’s best to start the transfer advising process as soon as possible. Waiting until the last semester will limit your transfer options.

Advisors can also help you:

  • Identify transfer opportunities
  • plan your transfer from start to finish
  • take advantage of our transfer partnerships with colleges and universities
  • find and apply for transfer scholarships

Below you’ll find information on paying for college, transferring, North Carolina four-year institutions, and upcoming events happening at Davidson-Davie that can help you make the right decision.

Paying for College

In-state vs. out-of-state tuition will vary depending on institution. Cost should be a consideration when you’re deciding where to go to college, but it shouldn’t prevent you from achieving your goal of attending and graduating from college. Not only are there plenty of colleges and universities at different price points, but there is also a lot of federal, state, and institutional financial aid available to help cover tuition and living expenses.
