STORMStats Sports Analytics Club

STORMStats seeks to introduce students to the exciting world of sports analytics. This rapidly growing field combines mathematics, computer programming, big data…and of course sports! In the club, we look to learn about various topics within the world of sports analytics and apply these findings to real-world scenarios. Our final objective is to apply our skills and findings to our beloved Davidson-Davie athletic programs.

Our meetings will include a combination of activities such as guest speakers, presentations by club members, group projects, blog writing and attending conferences. We are currently partnered with the Davidson-Davie basketball team collecting, analyzing and presenting data.
