Purple Heart Recipient to Share Story at DCCC

Veterans Day program with keynote speaker Mur DeJonge, Purple Heart recipient

Purple Heart recipient, Mur DeJonge, will share his story of patriotism, war, and combat on Thursday, November 10 at noon in the Rittling Conference Center on the Davidson Campus of Davidson County Community College. DeJonge is the keynote speaker for the college’s Veterans Appreciation Event sponsored by the Office of Student Life.

NCWorks Career Center’s Veterans Outreach Program and the Thomasville High School Junior ROTC Color Guard will also participate.

Free coffee and donuts will be available for all veterans.
