UPDATE: DCCC is taking extra precautions in response to the Coronavirus, as a result this event has been cancelled. Visit the DCCC Coronavirus Response web page for more information.

March 5, 2020 – Davidson County Community College hosts its annual Spring Job Fair Wednesday, March 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Rittling Conference Center of the Davidson Campus. This event is free and open to the public.

The event brings together regional employers representing a wide range of professions and industries. Career options will be available in the areas of healthcare, advanced manufacturing, business, IT, education and more.

“This is one of my favorite events of the year,” DCCC’s Career Development Director Charles Mayer said. “Students come to DCCC to earn that future career. Our job fairs put that next step right in front of them. It is a chance to explore and network, and brings our community together so businesses and individuals can succeed.”

Employers representing Ashley Furniture, First Choice Personnel, Gildan, Ingersoll Rand, NCWorks, Patterson Company, SMEX, Wake Forest Baptist Health and others are scheduled to be in attendance.

The fair will also include representatives from the DCCC admissions office and continuing education. Participants will be able to discuss academic and career pathways offered at the college, explore short-term programs and upcoming continuing education courses and ask questions about the admission and enrollment process.

DCCC’s Davie Campus in Mocksville will also host a job fair on April 14.
