Future Health Sciences Center Groundbreaking & Naming Ceremony

Davidson County Community College trustees, board members, faculty, and staff, and members of the community will participate in a groundbreaking and naming ceremony for a new Health Sciences Center.

The 40,000-square-foot building will bring together multiple health sciences programs currently housed in various buildings across the Davidson Campus. The Center will include an updated lab and classroom and meeting space to help foster the type of interdisciplinary learning that is practiced between health care professionals in the field.

DCCC graduates more than 200 students in the health sciences each year. Increased interest for health care courses and changes in various health care professions requiring advanced training led the College to pursue building a state-of-the-art learning environment to meet the needs of students and employers.
