DCCC’s Davie Campus to Host Job Fair

February 27 , 2018 – Davidson County Community College will host a job fair on the Davie Campus in Mocksville, N.C. on Thursday, March 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Davie Administration Building. The event is open to the public and open to employers seeking to hire. Some of the employers confirmed to participate include Reeb Millwork, Filet of Chicken, First Choice Personnel, The Resource, Forsyth County Sheriff, Vitro Automotive Glass and Bermuda Run County Club. 

“We are excited to bring this opportunity to our local community,” said Teresa Kines, dean of the Davie Campus at DCCC. “As a higher education institution, DCCC seeks to bridge the gap between academic studies and career placement. This event helps both local employers and those in the community seeking employment.”

Job seekers that participate will also have an opportunity to speak with an academic advisor and to tour the college’s new Enrollment Bus, where they can receive information about academic programs, financial aid and career pathways.
