Welding: TIG – Davidson

This course provides instruction on the principles and practices of welding. Emphasis is on the blueprint reading, metallurgy, welding inspection, and destructive and non-destructive testing. Course content will be specific to the particular welding process GTAW(TIG). Upon completion, students will have the knowledge base to sit for various industry-specific certifications.

Prerequisite: Students should be proficient in MIG/STICK processes in order to register for this course.

 

Closed toe shoes, long sleeved shirt and long pants required.

 

**** Students will need to purchase TIG gloves before entering into the course.
