This course is designed to meet the requirements by the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles for training required of all mechanics prior to licensing to inspect vehicles for safety. Participants must complete the course content, demonstrate ability to make mechanical inspections, and pass a written examination during the two sessions. Upon successful completion, the learner will be prepared to perform the NC Auto Safety Inspections at licensed inspection stations.
Students must have a valid NC Drivers License.
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BRING A COMPLETED AND SIGNED INSPECTOR/MECHANIC CERTIFICATION ACTION FORM TO CLASS. THIS IS REQUIRED IN ORDER FOR YOUR CERTIFICATION TO BE MAILED TO DMV. THE ATTACHED LINK WILL TAKE YOU TO THE DMV FORMS PAGE. PLEASE PRINT FORM LT-310.
