This is the second course in the TA series of 2 classes totaling 96 hrs of coursework needed to become Teacher Assistant in a Title 1 school. This class focuses on preparing students for the 3 WorkKeys tests, and also covers state requirements regarding ESL, IEPs, classroom management skills, and more. This class will be held in person on Wednesdays and require online classwork in MOODLE and ZOOM to complete 48 hrs of online and in-person classwork. Attendance and participation is required. Students must pass with a 70% or more and the course is taught in English. This class does not articulate.
