Dog Grooming Basics

Course topics will include handling/controlling of small animals, coat care, parasite recognition, and skin disorders. Through live demonstrations and hands-on practice you will learn basic techniques such as brushing and combing, blow drying, nail trimming, beginner grooming skills, along with how to use and maintain grooming equipment.

NOTE: An orientation session will be held prior to beginning of class. The date and time will be emailed to all registered students. A grooming kit (approx.$60.00) must be purchased by each student. Ordering information will be provided to students at the orientation session.
