This 36-hour online course is designed to provide substitute teachers with principles and practices of effective teaching and is recognized by the NC Department of Public Instruction. The extensive curriculum focuses on skills for basic classroom management, childhood development, and instructional techniques.
NOTE: Potential students should check with Human Resources at the county and/or city school districts you want to be a substitute teacher to be sure they accept this certificate in their district before registering for this course.
