The course is designed specially to meet the subject requirements and standards established by the Department of Labor: Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training for electrical mechanics. This course is designed to cover the key content as it pertains to commercial and residential electrical processes including Alternating Current Motors: Theory Application, Electric Lighting, Conduit Bending, Pull and Junction Boxes, Conductor Installations, Cable Tray, Conductor Terminations and Splices, Grounding and Bonding, Circuit Breakers and Fuses, Control Systems and Fundamental Concepts.
REQUIRED BOOK: NFPA 70m National Electrical Code (NEC) (2023). Can be purchased at Amazon and NFPA.org. Other textbooks and materials provided.
Instructor my have additional tool and safety requirements list presented 1st night of class.
