The course is designed specially to meet the subject requirements and standards established by the Department of Labor: Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training for electrical mechanics. This course is designed to cover the key content as it pertains to commercial and residential electrical processes including Alternating Current, Motors: Theory and Application, Electric Lighting, Conduit Bending, Pull and Junction Boxes, Conductor Installations, Cable Tray, Conductor Terminations and Splices, Grounding and Bonding, Circuit Breakers and Fuses, Control Systems and Fundamental Concepts.
NOTE: Students will need to purchase (REQUIRED) National Electrical Code (NEC) Toolkit, $129, order at NFPA.ORG. Instructor may have additional tool and safety requirements list presented 1st night of class.
