Program Mission Statement/Description
Our programs, services and courses are designed for all working shifts – seven days a week, and they can be delivered on your site or at one of our convenient campus locations or extension sites in Davidson or Davie counties.
You decide what you need and leave the work to us. Your program will then be delivered to your employees. A training needs assessment can be used to determine and meet your organization’s needs. This assessment is offered at no cost to your organization.
What We Do…
The Customized Training Program provides education, training and support services for new, expanding and existing businesses and industry in North Carolina through our network of 58 community colleges, serving all 100 counties of the state. Customized Training Program resources may support training needs assessment, instructional design, development and delivery. With our team of experts, we create customized media development, including process manuals, orientation and process DVDs and interactive learning solutions. We offer a proven design process that is repeatable and ensures the development of high-quality learning solutions including classroom, lab and on-the-job training, and computer-based interactive programs and immersive 3-D simulation.

How We Do It …
Our services range from job profiling, pre-employment training and assessment, to post-hire technical and critical soft skills training.
The overall focus of pre-employment training is to provide a mutual opportunity for both candidate and company to assess each other to determine if there is a good match for a long-term relationship. This is an opportunity to focus on your organization’s philosophy, values, vision, practices and demands on the job, as well as to hear from the candidates and observe them in structured exercises that will bring out some of the challenges of daily work.
To initiate the design and development of your customized training plan, representatives from your local community college will collaborate with you to provide an instruction method tailored to your needs. We will work with you to get your workforce up and running at the speed of business. The road map we follow will be absolutely unique to your company.
