  2. Participate in Group Advising Sessions
    • Advising sessions will be available to you at your high school and led by your Davidson-Davie advisor. You will be required to complete three sessions prior to registration. If you miss one at your high school,  you can participate in a make-up session at the Davidson-Davie campus.
    • Upcoming Advising Session dates at Davidson-Davie are below:
      • Session 1: Academic Planning
        • November 26, 5:30 p.m. – Rittling Conference Center, Room 202
      • Session 2: Selecting Courses
        • December 17, 5:30 p.m. – Rittling Conference Center, Room 202
      • Session 3: Finalizing Schedule
        • February 25, 5:30 p.m. – Rittling Conference Center, Room 202
  3. Complete Course Plan Form
    • You will receive this form during your Advising Sessions, and instructions for completing it will be provided.
  4. Finalize Registration
    • Once your Course Plan is approved by your high school, your Davidson-Davie advisor will register you for college classes.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

CCP students who complete a pathway may continue taking classes within the full degree program associated with that pathway. However, they should consult with a CCP advisor to identify available courses. Additionally, completing a pathway makes you eligible to participate in  Davidson-Davie’s Commencement Ceremony!

Students in a College Transfer pathway do not receive a credential for completing their pathway. However, if they have earned enough credits for an associate degree, they can be awarded that degree. They should consult with a CCP advisor to confirm degree completion and then apply for graduation to obtain the degree.

Davidson-Davie After High School:
Some students decide to continue their studies as traditional students at Davidson-Davie after graduating from high school.  To begin this process, the first step is to complete the CCP Intent Form.  

If you choose to continue your education with us, be sure to explore the various scholarships we offer, including the Advantage Scholarship, Ignite Davie, and other traditional scholarships.

Advantage Scholarship

Davidson-Davie offers the Advantage Scholarship for high school students who participate in the CCP Program. This scholarship provides an additional year of free college tuition for eligible students, allowing them to take extra classes before advancing to the next phase of their education or starting their careers.

To qualify, you must:

  • Intend to continue your enrollment at Davidson-Davie immediately after high school graduation
  • Complete at least 12 credit hours through CCP
  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher in CCP courses
  • Have a 2.6 unweighted high school GPA
  • Enroll full-time at Davidson-Davie after high school (a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester for two semesters)
  • Complete the FAFSA

Ignite Davie

For Davie County students, there is also Ignite Davie. This scholarship provides funding based on the number of years you have been enrolled in a Davie County school (including homeschool). To be eligible, you must:

  • Have graduated from a Davie County high school or homeschool
  • Complete the Ignite Davie application and FAFSA
  • Enroll full-time at Davidson-Davie

Traditional Scholarships

Don’t forget, there are numerous traditional scholarships available! Davidson-Davie provides a variety of scholarships through the Davidson-Davie Foundation and also accepts outside scholarships. For more information on these financial opportunities, visit our Scholarships Page.

Ready to transfer your Davidson-Davie credits to another college or university? We have resources to support you through the transition!

Davidson-Davie collaborates with all UNC system colleges and many private in-state institutions, ensuring you maximize your CCP program experience. Transfer Pathway courses are specifically designed to provide general education credits for your bachelor’s degree. As long as you earn a C or higher in these courses, they should transfer smoothly. Additionally, many of our Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways are transferable to four-year colleges. Our Transfer Agreements page lists all options! 

To learn more about how your classes will transfer to your specific degree plan, explore Transfer Guides for all UNC System schools. Depending on the number of credits you’ve earned in high school, you may apply as either a transfer student or a freshman. It’s a good idea to speak with an admissions counselor or advisor at your chosen four-year institution to confirm how much transfer credit you will receive.


When you are ready to transfer credit, you will need to order an official transcript. The cost for an official transcript is $5 per copy.

Many students complete a technical certificate, diploma, or degree program before graduating high school, preparing them for careers in their chosen fields.
