New Davie County Public School Career and College Promise Students

  • CCP Information Sessions will be offered to you at Davie County High School during Flex time.
  • Additional Information Session dates and locations for students and parents are listed below:
    • January 23, 6 p.m. – Davidson-Davie Community College, Davie Campus, Administration Building, Room 110
    • February 13 – Explore Davie Event at Davie County High School

High school juniors and seniors with a cumulative unweighted GPA of 2.8 or higher are eligible to participate in any CCP pathway at Davidson-Davie. For additional eligibility criteria, visit the CCP Eligibility Criteria

Note: Davie County High School allows only juniors and seniors to participate in the CCP program.

  • The College Transfer pathway is designed for high school students who wish to begin earning college credit toward an Associate in Arts degree. This pathway is intended for you to eventually transfer to a four-year college or university.
  • Career and Technical Education pathways provide college credits that lead to entry-level job skills and a certificate in a technical career.

The pathways available on the Davie Campus are College Transfer Arts, Emergency Medical Science, Nurse Aide, and Welding Technology.  The Firefighter Training pathway is available at Davie County High School.  Additional pathways are available online and on the Davidson Campus.  Determine which pathway best fits your long term goals.

Please complete the CCP Interest Form to move forward with your next steps.
  • College Transfer: Group Advising sessions will be available to you at Davie County High School and led by your Davidson-Davie advisor.
  • Career and Technical Education: Advising sessions will be available to you with Alyse Wooldridge, Career Development Coordinator, at Davie High School.
  • Submit your Statement of Understanding form to Davie County High School student services office.
  • Apply here! Only one application is allowed per student.
  • Be sure to choose the Career and College Promise application.
  • Select the College Transfer or Career and Technical Education pathway that you entered into your CCP Interest Form.
  • Access your Application Portal with the email and password you used when you completed your application.
  • Click on your Status Update to view your Davidson-Davie acceptance letter and locate your Davidson-Davie student ID number which is located at the bottom of your acceptance letter. This number will be needed to set up your account.

You will develop a Course Plan in the Advising Session (see step 5 above). Once your Course Plan is approved by your high school, your Davidson-Davie advisor will register you for college classes.
