The Institute of Study Abroad, Ireland, is based in beautiful Donegal. The campus is located in Bundoran, Ireland’s famous surf town. Learn about Irish history, literature and culture, see famous sites, and interact with and learn from the locals. Soak in the amazing beauty of the Emerald Isle. Associated Course: All participants must take HUM 180 for credit or the concurrent continuing education course. The class will meet on Thursday evenings from 6-7:15 p.m. during the first 8 weeks of the fall semester of 2021. The class will also meet on Thursday, October 21 following the trip to Ireland for a time of reflection. The cost of the continuing education class will be $49.

Payments must be paid to our Business Office & can be made in person Mon. to Fri. 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (except holidays). They are located on the 2nd floor of the Brooks Student Center on the Davidson Campus, or in the Administration building on the Davie Campus. Early Bird Payment Plan (total price: $2650):
$250 deposit paid by April 15, 2021
- $600 payment due by May 31
- $600 payment due by June 30
- $600 payment due by July 31
- $600 final payment due by August 31
If you pay your $250 deposit after April 15, you will follow the “Regular Plan” listed below.
Regular Payment Plan (total price: $2750):
$250 deposit paid between April 16 & June 29
- $1200 payment due by June 30
- $1300 final payment due by August 31
April 15, 2021: Early-bird signup deadline
June 15, 2021: late signup deadline (if spots are still available)
After completing your Application Form, you will be directed to pay a $250 non-refundable study abroad fee to the Davidson-Davie Community College business office to secure your spot. Keep in mind that space is limited and once the trip capacity is reached, applications will be closed, so pay your deposit as soon as possible to reserve your seat! Price and availability are subject to change.
All study abroad participants who will still be a student at Davidson-Davie Community College during the 2021 fall semester & have completed at least 12 credit hours at Davidson-Davie will have the option of applying for partial scholarships.
