The Institute of Study Abroad, Ireland, is based in beautiful Donegal. The campus is located in Bundoran, Ireland’s famous surf town. Learn about Irish history, literature and culture, see famous sites, and interact with and learn from the locals. Soak in the amazing beauty of the Emerald Isle. This is sure to be a trip you will not soon forget!
This trip is intended for: Adventure in Ireland is open to Davidson-Davie students, faculty and staff, as well as members of the community, age 18 or older at the time of travel. Anyone under age 18 as of Oct. 11, 2024 is ineligible to attend.
You will experience: Cultural immersion, history, music, Celtic art, castles, pub life, natural wonders and surfing.

Associated Course: All participants must take the associated study abroad course for credit or through continuing education. The cost of the continuing education class will be $49.

Payment
A non-refundable deposit of $200 is required to reserve your spot. Payments must be paid to our Business Office and can be made in person Mon. to Fri. 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (except holidays). They are located on the 2nd floor of the Brooks Student Center on the Davidson Campus, or in the Administration building on the Davie Campus. You can also call 336.249.8186 ext. 6341 to make a payment over the phone Mon. to Fri. 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Payment Plan (total price: $3,195):

- $599 payment due by April 4

SCHOLARSHIP INFO
Gilman Scholarship: All Pell recipients can apply for a Benjamin A. Gilman scholarship for study abroad. The scholarship application deadline is March 7, 2024. For more information, contact Sarah Wright at sarah_wright@davidsondavie.edu.
Davidson-Davie Scholarships: All study abroad participants who have completed at least 12 credit hours at Davidson-Davie will have the option of applying for scholarships. For more information, contact Kristi Louya at Kristi_Louya@davidsondavie.edu. Deadline to apply for the scholarship is Sunday, April 21st, 2024 by midnight.
